AIESEC, pronounced "eye-sek", began in 1948 as an organization to help develop "friendly relations" between member countries.
Today, we are the largest student-run non-for-profit organization in the world. Our network includes over 50,000 students from more than 1700 universities across 110 countries and territories.
In partnership with business and higher education, AIESEC has over 60 years of experience in developing high-potential students into globally minded responsible leaders.
AIESEC Ohio State
Here in Ohio State, we have six teams working together to promote global connection and leadership.
Business Development team (BD):
- make connection with local business and raise trainee-ship opportunity for global talents
Communication and Marketing (Comm):
- university relation and marketing promotion of AIESEC products
Incoming Exchange (ICX):
- process J1 visa sponsorship and introduce incoming interns to the Columbus area
Outgoing Exchange (OGX):
- match local talents to the global network of leadership and management opportunities
Talent Management (TM):
- recruit new members and conduct Local Committee member education
- manage the financial sector of AIESEC Ohio State and seek sponsorship to support Local Committee development and events
